Our Zawadi blend has been created using carefully selected peaberries, primarily from the Kamandi & Ndia-ini coffee factories.
Ndia-ini lies 5km from Mukurwe-ini & uses water fresh from the Gikira river for processing. The proximity of the river gives the factory its name which translates to ‘river ponds’ in the Kikuyu language. Kimandi is situated in the village of the same name, close to Kabare town. The word Zawadi itself is Kiswahili, & means ‘Gift’.

We know that most people don't have an espresso machine at home, so we use a special omni-grind grade for all our pre-ground coffee. Embracing a huge range of brewing methods, we've made sure you’re always getting a great tasting cup of coffee - no matter what contraption you have on your counter-top.
